What does a Clubsport vehicle body mean at RPR Performance?

In particular, this requires perfect TÜV conformity, and the option of retrofitting the modifications is also ideal.”
But where should you start with Clubsport tuning? As a C6 Z06 owner, you don’t have to complain about a lack of power or torque. The power-to-weight ratio is also already optimized thanks to the aluminium chassis. We therefore have no specific need for action in these areas for the time being.
In addition to an optimized brake system, the seats with the corresponding 4-point belts are virtually “your life insurance” and ensure that you can also feel your car. This is because such an optimized bucket seat holds the driver securely in place even during high lateral acceleration, without the driver having to search for support. If you really have to hold on to the steering wheel, you’ll never get a clean line. A relaxed, relaxed sitting posture can easily make you one second faster per lap.
Rollover protection is of course essential for safety on board. At the very least, we are talking here about a rear-supported, screwed-in bar, which is regularly even referred to as a Clubsport bar. This is extended in the bolted-in roll cage with side protection and struts. A welded-in safety cell is even safer – and also improves vehicle rigidity. This welding cell offers the greatest possible safety – but is also very cost-intensive due to the high effort involved.
